For every nook and cranny of your face, there is a sponge specifically designed for your go-to look. You can choose to use a damp beauty sponge to stipple in foundation and concealer, or you use it dry to expertly bake in your loose powder-and there are so many sponges to choose from now. Plus, they can be used in so many different ways. Not only are sponges ideal for streak-free blending, but they also don't soak up as much product as a brush, so your favorite concealer will last for months, instead of weeks. But there's really nothing that compares to the flawless finish you get when you use a sponge. ![]() And don't get me wrong, I still love a foundation brush. ![]() But back then, all we had to blend these things out were brushes. These days, we're all more cued into how to make our foundation look beautiful: A glowing primer, a tiny hint of a contour, blended to perfection. However, if you are a blending fiend like me and are always on the hunt for finding new and better ways to blend your makeup then these are worth trying out.If you saw me in high school, here's what it would look like: A girl with a very tight skirt, whose face is noticeably more orange than her neck, wearing foundation that is mostly streaky tiger-stripes. If you have the original beauty blender I wouldn’t say you absolutely need these in your collection. This probably wouldn’t be a problem if you have small hands since it won’t slip out of your grasp as easily. It does get a little bit bigger when damp like the original beauty blender, but it is still really tiny, which can make it hard to use. The Verdict | Some people might think this is gimmicky, but in my opinion it does come in handy for some things. Thus, I do wish these micro mini beauty blenders were slightly bigger so it would be easier to work with. ![]() The original beauty blender blends out concealer quickly since it is so big. You also have to bounce the beauty blender under your eyes quite a bit in order to blend out any concealer since it is so small. I have dropped it a few times while doing my makeup, which is a little annoying. The Bad | Since it is so small, it is a little hard to grasp in your hands. This one blends out any concealer around the lips nicely without ruining your lipstick. I like to apply my lipstick and then clean up the edges so it is sharp and neat, and the original beauty blender is too big for that. It also helps around the lips when you want to fix any smudges from your lipstick. The Good | These are really small so you are able to reach some hard to reach areas on your face like under your eyes, between the brows, and around the nose. So when I saw that they came out with these mini ones I knew I had to try them out. Their original beauty sponge is very loved in the beauty community and I totally understand why. ![]() Thus, Beautyblender came out with these micro mini beauty blenders. The original beauty blender is pretty large once it is damp so reaching areas like under the eyes and around the nose can be hard. Sometimes reaching the smaller crevices on your face can be difficult. So, are the new beautyblenders worth investing in? The Micro Mini Beauty Blender But, in all seriousness, the micro mini beautyblender just launched and for $17.95 you get two little beauty sponges whereas for $19.95 you get one original size beautyblender.
